We recently completed a high-performance floor restoration for the detailing shop at Upstate Auto Imports. Because this facility handles daily vehicle traffic and meticulous detailing work, they needed a surface that was both durable and professional. The Challenge: The original floor was in rough condition, showing significant wear and deep cracking. For a shop that prides itself on returning cars in pristine condition, the workspace needed to reflect that same level of quality. Our Process: Preparation: We performed a deep grind of the concrete to ensure a clean profile. Repair: All cracks and imperfections were filled using premium mending products to create a seamless foundation. The System: We applied a multi-layer professional coating: Simiron MVB: Moisture Vapor Barrier base coat. Simiron 1100 Epoxy: High-solids base for maximum adhesion. Full Decorative Flake: For added texture and aesthetic appeal. Simiron Polyaspartic Top Coat: A rugged, chemical-resistant finish designed to withstand heavy daily use. The Result: A beautiful, industrial-grade floor that is easy to clean and built to handle the demands of a busy automotive detailing environment.
